The deck plan editor

Nothing you draw is uploaded. Ships are kept in your own browser, and files you export are saved straight to your device.

The crew game

Your ship and its crew are saved on our server, so they're still there when you come back and can open on another device. Before you make an account, they sit under a random account with no name on it, and your browser keeps the key to it.

If you make an account, we also keep:

• With email and password: your email address, and your password as a salted hash (PBKDF2). We never store the password itself and can't read it back.
• With Google: the account ID Google gives us for you, and your email address if Google says it is verified. We don't ask for, or keep, your name, picture or contacts.

We use your email address only to log you in and, when you ask for one, to send you a password reset link. We don't send you newsletters or ads, and we don't sell it or share it.

Logging out removes your key, ship and crew from that browser. Your account stays on the server until you ask us to delete it.

The daily derelict board

If you finish a run of the daily ship, the board keeps a random player ID, the call sign made from it, your score, and your moves (so the run can be checked and replayed). It never has your name or email.

Counting visits

We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. We also count a few actions anonymously, such as "a haul came home" or "an account was made". We record only the event's name: no ID, and nothing about who sent it.

Who else sees it

The site runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data above for us. Google sees a sign-in only if you choose to sign in with Google. We have no ads and no other trackers.

Deleting your account

Email support@bananafest-destiny.com from the address on your account, or tell us the email or Google account you signed in with. We'll delete the account, its ship and its crew.
