FTV Sable Verge split down the middle and stayed split. Seven crew wanted to turn back, two wanted to press on, and the ship drifted while the argument went from words to doors to worse. Both factions kept logs. Both logs end the same week. Last log entry: Cpt. Lindqvist. Hook: The company that owns the hull wants the recorder, and only the recorder, and will pay for it to be lost.

PNG and .dd2vtt (walls, doors and lights for Foundry, Roll20 and Owlbear Rodeo) and the GM key below. CC0. Made with Bulkhead's generator; generate your own, every derelict comes with a story.
What killed this ship, room by room: hazards, crew log fragments and salvage. Players get the map, you get this.
Nav plot frozen on the last fix. Somebody wrote the numbers on the glass.
Hazard improvised tripwire on the door, wired to a flare. Loud, bright, and it draws whatever is still moving.
Log fragment (Cpt.) "They have the reactor. We have the air. I intend to see who blinks."
Salvage the flight recorder, intact. It settles the argument. Nobody left to hear it.
Lockers open. Whatever was worth taking went with the pods.
Hazard the food printer was poisoned. Both sides say the other did it. Nobody ate.
Log fragment, under a bunk a list of names with lines through them, in two different hands.
Manifest on the wall, half the lines crossed out in marker.
Hazard a jammed hatch with a body on the far side, holding it shut from habit.
Log fragment (Deckhand) "Moved the cargo before either side could claim it. Neither side has asked me. Yet."
Salvage the cargo is what they were fighting over. It is worth exactly what someone will pay to keep it quiet.
Fuel gauges at zero. The log says they were not.
Bulkhead's fleet generator, in the $12 version, makes 5, 10 or 20 ships at once — shuttles, corvettes, freighters, stations, intact or derelict — in one zip. Every deck as a PNG and a .dd2vtt, a GM key like the one above for each, and one FLEET.md with every brief. The stories are spread across the fleet, so five derelicts are five different deaths.
