ISV Corvid misjumped. The drive fired with the nav plot half-loaded and the ship came out somewhere with no stars in the right places. The crew rationed, then argued, then stopped. The drive is cold. The plot is still half-loaded. Last log entry: Tech Okafor. Their trail runs through three rooms. Hook: Tamura's suggestion about what comes after a third is written down, and it was carried out.

PNG and .dd2vtt (walls, doors and lights for Foundry, Roll20 and Owlbear Rodeo) and the GM key below. CC0. Made with Bulkhead's generator; generate your own, every derelict comes with a story.
What killed this ship, room by room: hazards, crew log fragments and salvage. Players get the map, you get this.
Vacuum. Suit up. Consoles dark. One chair is turned to face the door.
Salvage the nav core, holding a jump plot no charts contain. Worth a career to the right astrogator.
Lockers open. Whatever was worth taking has been taken.
Hazard a crewmember's tally scratched into every surface. Stare too long and you lose your own count.
Table set for six. Frost on the plates.
Hazard the ration printer was run on anything that fit. Whatever it printed last is still in the tray.
Log fragment (Cpt.) "Rations to half. Then to a third. Tamura suggested what comes after a third. I dismissed him."
Dark. Emergency lighting only. Battery light blinking. The last treatment is still on the screen.
Manifest on the wall, half the lines crossed out in marker.
Containers cut open, not unlocked.
Salvage intact cargo, untouched; the crew were too disciplined, or too frightened, to open it.
Scram lever pulled and wired down so it stays pulled.
Sample cases open. The freezer is warm.
Trail 1/3 Tech Okafor's slate, screen cracked. The last entry: "Going to life support (2, lower deck). Back in ten." Nothing after it.
All pods gone. Empty cradles.
New filters stacked by the door, still in their wrap.
Shuttle still here, hatch open, seats empty.
Fuel gauges at zero. The log says they were not.
Hazard the drive core is cold but not empty. Charge is bleeding off as static; metal tools jump in your hand.
Log fragment (Eng.) "The core will fire once more. Once. Either we pick a direction or the ship does."

Straps cut. Whatever was lashed here left in a hurry.
Trail 3/3 The code from the last room opens the locker here. Inside, Okafor's own recording of the last day. It is the first account aboard from someone who was there.
Scrubbers dead. The air is whatever is left.
Trail 2/3 Okafor got this far. One set of boot prints in the dust, heading for the cargo hold (1, lower deck), and a door code scratched into the frame.
Empty cradles, same as the other bay.
Log fragment (pod panel) four pods launched, four headings, none of them toward anything.
Something moved in here — recently. Reactor cold. Tools laid out for a repair nobody finished.
The notes stop mid-word. The pen is on the floor.

Bulkhead's fleet generator, in the $12 version, makes 5, 10 or 20 ships at once — shuttles, corvettes, freighters, stations, intact or derelict — in one zip. Every deck as a PNG and a .dd2vtt, a GM key like the one above for each, and one FLEET.md with every brief. The stories are spread across the fleet, so five derelicts are five different deaths.
